Alex Pattison

Alex Pattison loved the water with his whole heart. It wasn’t just a hobby, it was the direction he chose for his life. Alex pursued seamanship, earned captain’s credentials, and kept pushing forward with additional courses and hands-on experience. The lake was his classroom, his workplace, his escape, and his joy. He was happiest outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, riding, and spending time with the people he loved.

Rather than flowers, we’re supporting Clean Up The Lake, an organization dedicated to protecting Lake Tahoe and local waterways through action-based, community-powered work. Their mission is to activate communities to protect the environment above and below the surface, and they’re known for dive teams that remove submerged litter and tackle larger “heavy lift” debris projects from the lakebed.

When you donate in Alex’s name, you’re helping keep the water clearer, safer, and more cared-for—so other families can keep making memories on the lake for generations. It’s a tribute to a young man who felt most at home on the water, and whose love for it will always be part of us.
