CA Pilot Research: Boca & Stampede Reservoirs

Project Objectives

• Perform survey dives in areas with highest human traffic and activity, collecting litter and GPS marking heavy lift items, hot spots, unknown or historical objects, new AIS or algal blooms.
• Assess underwater habitat and threat levels from aquatic invasive species.
• Categorize all collected litter by material type and use.
• Determine if a full circumnavigated cleanup of each reservoir is needed.
